CONTEMPORARY SCULPTURE AND CERAMICS

Sculpt Gallery is situated in rural North East Essex on the outskirts of Tiptree, and is one of a handful of art galleries in the UK dedicated to contemporary British sculpture and fine art ceramics.

The gallery is run by Debra Blik, wife of the resident artist, the internationally renowned sculptor Maurice Blik whose sculpture studio is on site. As well as holding a permanent, comprehensive collection of Blik's work, the gallery showcases the work of leading and emerging sculptors and ceramicists via a programme of exhibitions which offer high-quality, original art, suitable for experienced collectors as well as those with a developing interest. Prices for ceramics start at around £75; small bronzes are priced from £1,500. A significant proportion of the work is produced by artists living in the East Anglia region.

The gallery coordinates commissions and sources artwork for a wide range of projects, either at the conceptual stage or once a project is complete, including sculptures which are suitable for outside installation. If you would like assistance or advice regarding art for a public or private project, please get in touch.

Interest-free purchasing options are available for significant purchases, and gift certificates are ideal if you want to give the gift of original art but are unsure of someone's taste.

The gallery is open each Saturday from 1 June to 24 August 2013, from 12.00 - 5.00pm. At other times although we are usually here, it is advisable to phone first to check we are in or to make an appointment. Browsers are welcome. There is free off-road parking. Arrange a visit.

The Tiptree jam factory museum and tea rooms are a short drive away.
