John-Eric Johnson

Blue & White Plate (3467)

Hand-made stoneware unique. 2016.

John-Eric Johnson produces contemporary, functional and decorative slipware in his 'trademark' blue and white.

He incorporates both throwing and hand-building techniques using stoneware clay, and has a fluid, painterly style of decorating his pots with random checked patterns and swirling 'scribbles'.

John-Eric moved to the UK from Quebec, Canada, in 1989 and now lives and works from his studio in Blackheath, London.
He has exhibited his work in a number of open studio events and galleries in the UK and his work is found in corporate and private collections in the UK, USA (JW Marriot, Las Vegas Resort & Spa), Canada, Barbados, South Africa, France and Norway.
