ADAM AARONSON; HEIKE BRACHLOW; and DAVID M FLOWER

Continuing our series of exhibitions this year based on Process & Materials, this exhibition showcases glass sculpture and vessels, made using a variety of techniques, by some of the UK's most talented artists working in this challenging medium. Definitely one not to be missed!

For this exhibition David M Flower (formerly of London Glass Blowing) has created a stunning series of blown vessels which have a rich, rusted finish with sweeping, carved lines revealing coloured glass beneath. Each piece is underlit making the lines of colour 'sing'.

German-born international glass artist, Heike Brachlow, will be showing a selection of precision, cast-glass sculptures which demonstrate the subtlety of her coloured glass which she creates in her studio at Parndon Mill, Harlow.

Adam Aaronson will be exhibiting a series of beautiful, hand blown glass bowls, together with a selection of serene, frosted glass sculptures. Aaronson specialises in free blown glass sculpture. He experiments with different glass techniques to produce highly finished forms.

Also joining the line-up by special invitation are works in glass by ABU JAFAR and EWA WAWRZYNIAK. Jafar creates stunning fused glass sculptures and wall-hung pieces which demonstrate his painterly background. The layers of hand-painted, fused glass take their inspiration from psychology, philosophy, classical music and day-to-day human existence.

Polish born, Ewa, creates distinctive, kiln-cast and sand-cast glass sculptures, often using sand moulds lined with copper foil. Her work feels initimate and deals with perceptions of the house as a 'private space'.

Please note, only a selection of work by each artist is illustrated online. To see the full exhibition please either visit the gallery or request a catalogue.
