Portrait sculpture is a unique way to capture a person's character and personality, and can provide years of pleasure for future generations.

This exhibition will demonstrate a variety of approaches to portrait sculpture by some of the region's leading sculptors and some exciting newcomers. It will present the opportunity to view the heads of recognised public figures, including Sir Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela, Charles Clarke MP and Gerald Durrell OBE, as well as privately commissioned works. Those interested in commissioning a portrait will be able to discuss the options with artists in attendance.

Exhibiting: John Doubleday; Neal French FRBS; Roland Piche FRBS; David Begbie ARBS; Barry Woodcraft; Billie Bond; and Steve Pallemaerts.

Prices for commissioning a portrait range from £300 - £3,000 for ceramic, or £4,500 - £7,800 for bronze.
