Installation of British Evacuees Memorial

The British Evacuees Memorial, 'Every Which Way' , was installed at the National Memorial Arboretum, Staffordshire on 25th July 2017. The Dedication Ceremony was attended by around 500 people with HRH the Duke of Gloucester in attendance as the Guest of Honour.

The 5-metre wide bronze depicting a line of 10 children, laden down with luggage and gas masks, marks the evacuation of millions of children from British towns and cities to the safety of the countryside during WWII.

Open Edition Bronzes

With permission from the British Evacuees Association, genuine foundry-cast bronzes of each of the 9 sculptures featured in the memorial are available to purchase separately as open editions. They are suitable for internal or external display.

For further information or to request a catalogue, please contact Debra Blik on 07980768616 or email:

10% of sales proceeds from the open editions will be donated to the British Evacuees Association. Where orders originate from the Arboretum, 10% will also be donated back to the NMA.
