Two bronze sculptures by Maurice Blik have been selected for inclusion in the RA Summer Exhibition, which opened in London on 22 September.
The sculptures, 'Windswept' and 'Hurrying' (RA catalogue no's. 544 and 545) are from his latest body of work, 'digging deep', which portrays the feel rather than the look of everyday experiences using a self-developed modelling technique, unique to the artist. We are delighted to say that 'Hurrying' sold at the Opening.
Maurice's sculptures can be found in Room IV, curated by Bob and Roberta Smith RA.
The RA Summer Exhibiton runs until 2 January 2022. Browse selected works at www.roy.ac/explore, or visit the RA website for more information.
